Russian River Valley

Opposite to our hillside vineyards, we are able to work with some lower-elevations as well.  Ponzo Vineyard, a mere 100 feet above sea level, exudes the northern Russian River AVA.  Early morning fog with a late burnoff provide the temperatures required to fully ripen Zinfandel, and sandy clay loam soils maintain vine nutrient balance.  Ponzo has three planted blocks, ranging from 20-70 years of age.
